Is Saorview really free?
Yes. Saorview is free-to-air. You need a UHF aerial and a compatible TV or box, and the usual TV licence rules apply.
What is the cheapest legal way to watch sport in Ireland?
Some major sport is free on RTÉ, TG4 and Virgin Media. For paid sport, a NOW Sports membership or day pass is often cheaper than a long contract, especially if you only watch during part of the season.
Do I need a TV licence if I only stream?

How do I fix buffering on my smart TV?
Restart the router and TV, move the router closer or use Ethernet, close other heavy downloads and clear the app cache. If the problem is only on one app, check whether that service is having an outage.
